[ A piece of work for the 200th Birth Anniversary of H.C.Andersen ] |
I was asked to make a work based on an Andersen’s storybook, in commemoration of the two-hundredth year since Andersen’s birth. And I made a work of H.C.Andersen’s famous “Thumbelina” with LEGO. (^-^) This work is permanently exhibited in the Andersen Park. When you go there, please come and see it! |
"Thumbelina" is pleasantly playing on a flower-petal-boat in a dish-pond. Through the window, a hop-toad is looking at her... |
"Wow! What a beautiful girl! She is perfect for my son's bride!" "Thumbelina", who is paddling the boat with horse whiskers, seems not to be aware of it. |
"Well, I'll be back in the mid-night when everybody sleeps." |
In the night, Thumbelina has been kidnapped by the hop-toad's father, while she was sleeping in the "walnut bed"! |
Thumbelina is in a pinch! |
