[ A piece of work for the 200th Birth Anniversary of H.C.Andersen ]

I was asked to make a work based on an Andersen’s storybook, in commemoration of the two-hundredth year since Andersen’s birth. And I made a work of H.C.Andersen’s famous “Thumbelina” with LEGO. (^-^) This work is permanently exhibited in the Andersen Park. When you go there, please come and see it！

"Thumbelina" is pleasantly playing on a flower-petal-boat in a dish-pond. Through the window, a hop-toad is looking at her...

"Wow! What a beautiful girl! She is perfect for my son's bride!" "Thumbelina", who is paddling the boat with horse whiskers, seems not to be aware of it.

"Well, I'll be back in the mid-night when everybody sleeps."

In the night, Thumbelina has been kidnapped by the hop-toad's father, while she was sleeping in the "walnut bed"!
